UTILITY INFRARED SURVEYS
IDENTIFY DEVELOPING PROBLEMS ACROSS SUBSTATIONS AND OVERHEAD SYSTEMS
SYSTEMWIDE COVERAGE WITH FIELD-READY REPORTING
Electrical utility assets operate under heavy load, weather exposure and aging infrastructure. Accurate Infrared helps utilities identify abnormal heating associated with loose or deteriorating connections, overloaded components and developing equipment problems before they become emergency repairs.
We coordinate with utility personnel to survey substations, distribution equipment and overhead systems while they are energized and operating. Critical findings are communicated promptly, and the final report gives maintenance teams the location, equipment identification, thermal and visual imagery, temperature data and practical repair recommendations.
PLAN THE ROUTE
We work from utility maps, GIS information, one-lines and asset lists to organize efficient coverage.
SURVEY SAFELY
Experienced thermographers inspect energized assets from appropriate working distances and locations.
MAKE FINDINGS USABLE
Results are tied back to recognizable equipment and locations so crews can plan repairs efficiently.
FIELD EXAMPLES
Representative imagery from real field assignments. Client, vessel and location details are intentionally withheld.
UTILITY EQUIPMENT WE INSPECT
GROUND ROUTES, AERIAL COVERAGE AND REPEATABLE PROGRAMS
Substation work can be performed with utility staff or coordinated across multiple locations as a planned route. For overhead systems, Accurate Infrared can deploy a two-person field team to follow mapped lines, safely document suspect components and record findings for follow-up. Aerial inspection options can also be coordinated when they are the practical choice for the system and terrain.
We support one-time surveys, seasonal programs and recurring preventive-maintenance cycles. Before mobilization, we confirm the system boundaries, route information, access, escorts, safety requirements, asset-identification method and reporting expectations.
