SOLAR POWER INFRARED INSPECTIONS
FIND THERMAL ANOMALIES ACROSS PV SYSTEMS FROM THE AIR OR THE GROUND
SEE WHERE A SOLAR ARRAY MAY BE LOSING PERFORMANCE
Accurate Infrared performs thermal inspections of photovoltaic systems to help owners, operators, contractors and maintenance teams identify modules and electrical components that deserve closer attention. Under suitable operating and environmental conditions, abnormal thermal patterns can reveal inactive or underperforming cells, module defects, connection problems and other conditions that may reduce output or shorten equipment life.
We scale the inspection method to the project. Large arrays can be screened efficiently from a helicopter or drone, while ground-based thermography allows closer inspection of modules, combiner equipment and associated electrical systems.
COVER
Survey individual installations or large utility-scale arrays using the most practical platform for the site.
LOCATE
Identify suspect modules, cells and electrical components while the system is generating power.
PRIORITIZE
Use mapped and documented findings to guide electrical testing, repair and replacement decisions.
FIELD EXAMPLES
Representative imagery from real field assignments. Client, vessel and location details are intentionally withheld.

AERIAL AND GROUND-BASED OPTIONS
Accurate Infrared has extensive experience with aerial solar surveys, including helicopter-based inspection of large installations. Drone and ground-based options can also be coordinated when they are the right fit for the array, airspace, site access and level of detail required.
Meaningful results depend on solar irradiance, system output, weather, viewing angle and access. Before mobilization, we review the site layout, operating information, asset-identification method, flight or access requirements and desired reporting format with your team.
PLANNING A SOLAR THERMOGRAPHY PROJECT?
Send us the site location, array size and the decisions the survey needs to support. We will recommend an inspection approach and provide a proposal.
